The Technology: 15-Stage Sequential Sieve Array
- Physical Scanning: The sample passes through our proprietary, sequential 15-stage sieve array to rigorously categorize particle size distribution.
- Isolation of Variables (Control Sample): We supply certified organic Arabica control beans from Peru. Standardized roasting protocols eliminate thermophysical density and moisture fluctuations. Any granulometric variance reflects strictly on the mechanical tolerances of the grinder.
- Boulder Detection (>2000 μm): Identifies coarse particles exceeding 2000 microns. These are direct drivers of hydraulic channeling, localized under-extraction, and astringent sourness.
- Fines Detection (<180 μm): Identifies micro-dust particles below 180 microns. These obstruct hydrodynamic flow and produce excessive, aggressive bitterness.
- Algorithm & IP: Harvested raw sieve data is processed through our closed-source analytical software. High-resolution intermediate metrics are disclosed exclusively within the client metrology report.
The Deliverable: Computerized Metrology Report (PDF)
- Modal Peak: Mathematical identification of the primary grinding distribution peak.
- The Sweet Spot: Verification of optimal particle concentration, targeting >75% within the designated extraction window.
- Burr Condition: Pinpointing mechanical tolerances indicative of cutting-edge wear, runout, or loss of geometric alignment.
- Multi-State Profiling: Evaluate up to 5 grind settings within a single testing kit, with dedicated profiling curves for absolute comparability.
International Testing Protocol
Order & Route Verification
Select your testing profile volume (1 to 5 profiles) and submit your location. We confirm international express courier routing and total kit logistics.
Receive Calibration Kit
Receive your complete testing kit containing 150g of organic control beans, sequentially numbered specimen pouches, and a pre-addressed return parcel.
Grind & Pack
Grind the control beans across your target calibration steps on your machinery, seal the numbered pouches, and secure them in the return envelope.
Return & Laboratory Analysis
Drop the parcel at your local courier access point. Following laboratory laser and sieve metrology, a visual PDF engineering report is delivered via email.
